Solution Focused Therapy

Targeted Therapy
This approach is designed for individuals who have a small number of clearly defined concerns and want therapy to be focused, practical, and effective without becoming open-ended.
Many clients come in feeling stuck in specific patterns such as rumination, emotional reactivity, burnout, shame, or challenges with intimacy or communication. Rather than exploring everything at once, we identify the key dynamics maintaining distress and work intentionally to address them. Sessions focus on skill-building, insight, and nervous system regulation so clients can experience meaningful relief and forward movement in a relatively short period of time.
My work integrates trauma-informed psychotherapy, neurodivergent-affirming care, and creative interventions. The goal is not rapid fixes, but efficient, well-paced change that helps clients move out of survival patterns and into more stable, sustainable ways of functioning.
Structure and Time Frame
Because this work is structured and goal-oriented, most clients begin with weekly sessions for approximately 2–4 months, then transition to biweekly sessions as progress consolidates. Many clients complete therapy within six months.
This model is best suited for individuals seeking a purposeful, collaborative, and time-limited therapeutic process. It is not intended for complex or high-acuity concerns that require long-term or intensive treatment.
